Kingman, AZ is a progressive yet conservative small-town community and the county seat of Mohave County, Arizona. According to the 2010 census, the population of the city is 28,068. The nearby communities of Butler and Golden Valley bring the greater Kingman area total population to over 60,000. Kingman is located 100 miles, (an hour and a half drive) southeast of Las Vegas, NV; 180miles (3 hours) northwest Phoenix, and about 5 hours east of Los Angeles. With the recent expansion of Interstate 11 connecting Phoenix with Las Vegas, the addition of several tech companies and the promise of an industrial boom to the region, Kingman is positioned perfectly to become a dry port with increased access to many major cities for activities, entertainment, and shopping!

Kingman is also an amazing place to raise a family.  There are a multitude of schools within the Kingman Unified School District. Mohave Community College is a Top 30 Community College, also providing for college and post-graduate training opportunities and ties with other Arizona universities.

With a temperate climate, you can choose to golf on one of Kingman’s two golf courses practically year-round, or attend an ample variety of city-organized festivals, fairs and sporting events. There are three lakes – Mohave, Havasu and Mead within 30-70 miles


Points of Interest:

Hualapai Mountain Recreation Area which provides for a multitude of outdoor activities like sports, hiking, camping, gold prospecting, and hunting.

Historic Route 66: Kingman is well known for its location in the heart of the longest continual stretch of the world famous Route 66.

Las Vegas & Laughlin, NV: Kingman is also a gateway to the gambling destinations of Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada.

Scenery & the Outdoors: The natural wonder of the Grand Canyon (2-3 hours), the Colorado River (45 minutes), Lake Mead National Recreation Area (90 minutes), Lake Mohave (45 minutes), and Lake Havasu (60 minutes).

Oatman, Arizona: a nearby “ghost town” tourist attraction.

Keepers of the Wild: a wild animal sanctuary featuring lions and tigers among other animals.

Grand Canyon Sky Walk: Kingman is the closest city to the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a transparent horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge and tourist attraction on the edge of the Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon Caverns:  one of the largest dry caverns in the United States, is a short drive north and east of Kingman.
